I am an 77 year old man who has led a relatively healthy life. After my wife died two years ago, however, I began to lose my ambition to do anything other than sit around the house, eat unhealthy foods, watch TV, and surf the net. I noticed that I began to have trouble sleeping at night, had no energy during the day, and generally felt pretty depressed.
My family lives in another part of the country so I do not get to see them often. I am thinking of moving out West to be closer to my children and grandchildren now that my wife has passed. In doing so, I want to be healthier and happier than ever before. I have started getting up early and taking walks everyday, I am starting to eat healthy again, and I feel great! I think seeing my family and enjoying my last years with them has motivated me to get back into a healthy routine.
